Naas Monday 29th April
NAAS 7.50 + 8.20 - Handicap 1 mile - 20 run (both) Yielding - heavy rain
7.50 SO MESSI and ADHUIL Look very strong near the top of the market at backsable each way prices, with 20 runners and reserves though I like a couple at big odds if you want an extra punt.
SKONTONOVSKI who has a 1 mile win on soft ground runs off a nice mark when you consider the claim and is race fit and MY BIRTHDAY GIRL showed significant promise last time and the trip and going seem fine.
atbay, Fleetfootsoldier and Naisum would be the chief dangers.
8.20 Summer Snow is the one to beat but upped in trip and no form on soft Going yet, Master Garvey is best at 7 furlongs, Breezy Zoff may need a bit of respite from the handicapper but is feared, Anno Manna really improved last back end but may need the run.
I am very keen at the prices in the value of NUMIDIA who has had an AW prep and ideal form for these conditions and LISAMARIA who had a pair of promising runs under these conditions last season, has had a run already and gets cheek-pieces
Once again with 20 runners and reserves, if you want a couple of more speculative ones, I think that SOUND MOVE noted running on stoutly at 7 furlongs last week and bought out quickly by Jim Bolger and DESIGNER CAITLIN who is AW fit and whose best turf runs last season were at 7 furlongs and mile on soft and heavy Going, can give us a very bold show (MG)
