A competitive little race and the top 3 in the market look sensibly priced but not unbeatable.

 

Eden Collonges won last time out off a mark of 74, past P2P form suggests that the step up in trip should not be a problem, raised 4lbs but at the price one I wish to take on. Avithos has burst into life winning the last 2 races off marks of 76 and 82, they come a fair way to try to strike whilst the horse is in form but again I can't see much value in the price. Ajays Wings is another up in trip with some evidence it will suit but not exactly jumping off the page at me. 

 

Tour De Pub could improve for the application of a visor and looks a danger on that basis but a couple at bigger Odds with enough back form to suggest they may be well handicapped and better suited by drying conditions are MAMOO and MAISON D'OR. 

 

We tipped MAMOO in a race won by our other tip in the race that day (Uisce Ur) at Doncaster in January, the horse has since dropped again to a very appealing mark of 92 and is in "no excuse territory" on this better Ground. The trip and track hold no excuses and having record last 2 wins off marks of 94 and 100, the mark of 92 here looks very appealing for an each way punt.

 

MAISON D'OR last won off a mark of 98, and has placed off a mark of 102. Drying ground significantly boosts its chances and off a mark of exactly 100 looks a decent each way punt at nice Odds
