Newbury 5.26

THE ADVISOR - Newbury 5.26 - I think the one to beat here is TALAP in a race where plenty may need the run and many have to prove Turf form with more AW backgrounds. David Pipe's horse ran well on the line last time and wasn't stopping and a 1lbs rise looks lenient. He's a FULL tip.

With enhanced places there are many dangers but a trio caught my eye as cracking e/w value.

TYPICAL WOMAN stays 10 furlongs, the step up in trip is logical with its Sire being Nathaniel (Rose lIght is another in the race with this apparent stamina line and not easily discounted). SWORD BEACH will be suited by better ground and although there are some showers about it should be ideal ground here. It won off marks of 78 and 81 for Eve Johnson-Houghton and since moving to Alan King hasn't yet fired but off a mark of 71 really does jump off the page. MUJID at very big early odds is worth a close look on a win at this trip at Ffos Llas off a mark of 64, a very impressive run on a Course with an almost identical configuration. Well worth a small investment.
