3.50 Handicap Hurdle - Class 2 - 3 miles - 16 run - Good
Plenty to consider and after careful deliberation I just discarded Supreme Gift on trip concerns, Pull Again Green who may need the run before a summer campaign but one I will TRACK after today, Harbour lake who is upped in trip and a danger if getting it and the hardest to leave out on that basis and Copper Coin, who I think is another real dangerous type here.
I'm very keen to see HECTOR JAVILEX back here though, i thought it ran a cracking race at the Festival for a long way and just tired in softer ground at the business end, this is a less deep race, the better ground will suit and if running as well off a 5 week break should give us a cracking run for our money. GOWEL ROAD also ran with promise at the Festival and another who should be primed again off a 5 week break and GOSHHOWPOSH who had 2 wins on Good ground earlier in the season and who wasn't over exerted on heavy ground after that, should really appreciate the conditions here and run very well despite a handicap mark a few pounds higher than ideal.
Tips (1) Hector Javilex / (2) Gowel Road / (3) Goshhowposh
4.25 - Handicap Chase - Class 2 - 3 miles 2 furlongs - Good 14 run
I found this a little less tricky and am very confident in my final 3 here with only the Irish raider Stumptown, w ho may prefer it a fair bit deeper underfoot a serious concern.
JAVA POINT is a confident selection a Course and Distance winner off a nice handicap mark, CAPTAIN CATTISTOCK is going for a 3 timer in this race and the Yard will surely have him 100% primed for his big race of the season and MANOTHEPEOPLE is a stablemate and a lot less exposed with scope some of the others don;t have.
Tips (1) Java Point / (2) Captain Cattistock / (3) Manothepeople
