Work Watcher - Kempton 3.35 6 Irish Saint @ 11/2 win / 2 Theatre Guide @ 8/1 - each way

Work Watcher - "A 3 mile Chase on Good ground, although the Going stick suggests Good to Soft.
There are a number in here with outstanding chances on the form book, so I will have a go with one
who has excellent and proven Course and Distance form in THEATRE GUIDE. Won this in fine style
last year, to cap a run of good runs that deserved the victory; won off 139 that day, subsequently won
off a raised 149 at Cheltenham in the Autumn and has surely been aimed at this by top yard. There
are those who think a mark of 153 is prohibitive, but he is best right handed, CD winner and lets just
say a lot more will finish behind him than in front of him, in my opinion. I also looked long and hard
at Double Shuffle, a scopey but quirky horse and Ballykan but I can't leave IRISH SAINT out of
my calculations. Will he stay the trip, we don't know for sure but he can be totally dominant
at 3 furlongs shorter. If he gets in to a rhythm down the back and gets a breather off the bridle,
he could have these very well strung out turning for home and if ever he is going to win over
3 miles; I would suggest today as he could have run in a far more suitable 2m 5f race next
Saturday at Newbury, so Paul Nicholls must be pretty confident about him in here today."
