Tuesday 24th June

There are very few punting options today with small fields the norm and although there are a couple of Sprint Handicaps with 11-12 runners and a long distance Handicap Hurdle at Newton Abbot with 11 runners, our long hard look at those probable 3-4 race options suggests that there is very little each way value in any of them and the most likely scenario winners and placed horses that are hard to separate with prices likely to be around or substantially below 5-6/1.

The Carlisle Bell Card and a decent Worcester Jumps Card tomorrow offer genuine and very competitive Handicap Races with substantial field sizes, so we will wait for those and start detailed preparation early. The week after Royal Ascot is invariably a bit of an anti climax but the Carlisle and Worcester Fixtures have consistently delivered substantial big priced profit.
