One of those nice days yesterday when (almost) everything clicked. A 1-2 at York with Obelix a stand out 20/1 winner and a 1-2 at Newmarket with Oneforthegutter a 12/1 winner and one I think to follow as if you watch the distance the horse covered to find an opening, I think you can mark the run up a few pounds at least. We couldn't deliver the triple whammy at Chepstow, but in the light of a few frustrating weeks, a welcome return to form.

 

As you'll be aware we are away next week and the planned "SP2A week off" scheduled from Monday 14th to Friday 18th July will actually commence tomorrow. A look at tomorrow's Cards suggests a very small set of fields in baking heat, so after today we will be off until our return NEXT SATURDAY and once again, I hope that you will understand the reasons why.

 

There are 2 stand out handicaps today, The Bunbury Cup at Newmarket and The John Smith's Handicap at York and we'll also try to crack a 20 runner Sprint at York too.
