Minella Rescue ran OK to place at Uttoxeter yesterday at a restrictive price and whilst we were ultimately not involved with winner of places in the other race there was promise in the efforts of Manothepeople who did too much too soon and certainly the big priced Ashtown Lad, he was just lobbing along off the bridle for a Circuit and a half before the rider seemed to lose his irons at the cross fence second time round, the saddle then completely slipped off and the rider was effective bareback riding trying to pull him up. We'll keep a close eye on his next few runs.

 

 

There are Turf Flat Cards today at Ffos Llas , Pontefract and Windsor and each stages a competitive 1 mile handicap with a decent double figure field late on their respective Cards. It is low grade action, but a few at nice e/w prices analyse well, heve plenty of pointers suggesting a good run and we'll have a bash at all three races.
