With the focus on firmer ground we have been a bit more speculative today in our search for value. I think that's when we
are at our best and most dangerous "playing left field" and a host of big priced winners over the years and very recently show
that there is value to be had if you look hard enough at the form book. We have 3 today that I hope will give us some fun and
a bit of each way profit. In the 7.30 at Hamilton CORTON LAD jumps off the page after 3 recent runs that have not set the
world alight. It won here on Good To Firm in May last year off a handicap mark of 87 in a Class 3 race and gets similar
conditions tonight and a mark of 82 less the 3lbs Claim of a very promising lad suggests that the 20-25/1 early price could
be very generous. At Newbury in the 2.35 BOY IN THE BAR has needed the last couple of runs, Yard is in excellent form
and has won on Good ground and placed on similar Going to today off a mark of 91, with fitness now assured the mark
today of 89 looks exploitable. Finally in the 5.20 at Newbury we have JACK OF DIAMONDS who has ideal conditions for
the first time in a while, optimum trip and handicap mark too, and although recent form looks poor, return of cheek-pieces
can generate considerable improvement and if it can run up to level it normally does on this going worth a small e/w punt.

Those are the selections for today, back with SP2A ELITE at about 8.00am tomorrow and SP2A DAILY at about 9.30am
