Exeter 6.30

ROBIN - Exeter 6.30 Handicap Hurdle - Class 5 - 2 miles 7 furlongs - 14 run - Good (it's been a dry and very windy week in Devon)

A whole host of these also step up in trip and for that reason we'll keep a close eye on Defi Nonantais  and Tough Approach in particular who could have untapped potential and also one dropped in trip in Just In A Bit, who could outrun early odds of over 20/1.

I am happy to take on both Kick Up A Storm who has been off for 5 months or so and Colleenymore who is back over Hurdles here at the top of the market. Ithaka and Awesome Foursome are well fancied too in the market but at their prices I also think both are vulnerable for win purposes and not great e/w value either. If there is one I fear and have found hardest to fathom it's Anthony Honeyballs runner Dear Ralphy who has been very disappointing lately but who could easily revive on this better Going and he does worry me and I'll TRACK him forwards.

I feel sure that MOONLIGHT ARTIST will be better on this drying ground and with Freddie Gingell taking off 5 lbs which brings the horse back to a pound below its last winning mark of 88 he really should be right in contention here. REBEL INTENTIONS drops in Grade and takes a slight drop in trip and is another who really should be in the first three home for Emma Lavelle.

For some shrapnel I think that the Grace Harris pair of THE MIDWIFE and MY GIRL KATIE are too well handicapped and well suited to this drier ground and they get a shrapnel e/w suggestion in that order of preference in case you want to play one punt or on both.
