At the top of the market we have Beret Rouge for Willie Mullins whose form adds up to nothing but clearly at a top yard and Derrinlaur for Jessie Harrington who has an obvious chance and at 7/2 would be a decent win saver bet - may be a reverse forecast is the best option to cover this pair off, but neither really inspire confidence.

 

A fair few will need the run and as many have no proven form over this extended trip, especially as they will climb the hill twice in this race and some may expend too much early energy.

 

Star of Burma is a Course and Distance winner in April off a mark of 59, struggled back here last time off 64 and like Vischio who was also a Course and Distance winner off 59 on the same day and who has struggled since off a mark of 67 again look just a bit beyond a win mark BUT their Course and Distance winning credentials make them genuine dangers.

 

Whatcouldhavebeen is the most interesting of those totally unexposed and may outrun Odds if there is any real ability there on handicap debut. Stelify is first reserve and would come in to serious contention IF getting a run and one to have a late small bet on IF it does.

 

I was left with 3 of real interest. Morning Skye has some 12 furlong Flat form in the UK well down its CV and has been mainly run over fences in Ireland. Its fit from Jumping and could run a big race at silly odds given that proven fitness.

 

I'll stick though and just prefer MOLLY KAYE who is also NH fit, best recent Flat form is at this trip at Navan placing off a mark of 53 so just a pound above that it does look likely to run its race. FRANNO has won races off marks of 47 and 54, and off the back of a very good spell last year placed over this Course and Distance off a mark of 64. Its had a run and runs off 62. Ideally I'd be looking for a mark below 60 and it IS one to add to Trackers, but in a poor field, I think a place beckons tonight.

 

If either were non runners and STELIFY runs that would be reserve, and if reserves didn't get in but either was a late NR then a few quid on Morning Skye
