Newbury 3.10

THE ADVISOR -  Newbury 3.10 Handicap - Class 4 - 1 mile 4 furlongs - 13 run - Going Good

The pair at the top of the market, Scampi, whose best form has been on AW tracks but who ran well at Chester recently and who has been runner up over this Course and Distance and Grand Scheme for Richard Hannon who won over 14 furlongs last time and steps back to 12 furlongs here with a 4lbs penalty, look pretty strong so I'll play a small reverse forecast on the Balding / Hannon runners.

ABRAAJ has some good solid and competitive French form but hasn't fired here yet, its hard to assess his mark but they do go for a "tongue-tie" as the horse has faded late on in running. IF that helps and at very big odd, then £2 win £2 place on the exchanges or a similar e/w bet if you can't use exchanges will give you a nice run for your money.

The pair I most like though are more exposed but on nice marks and perfectly capable of taking a hand here.

NELLIE MOON drops back in trip and to a Course and Distance winning mark, the only small niggle is rain but I don't think there would be enough to worry us too much. EAGLE COURT has previously been very competitive off handicap marks in the mid 80's its a 3rd run for new connections and the mark of 79 suggests it should be seriously competitive at a nice price.
