We were a shade unlucky not to have a nice 11/1 winner at Huntingdon yesterday with Est Ilic just wandering about in front and needing the line but finishing an eventual runner up. Euchan Falls was also a runner up, although more comprehensively beaten by the race favourite at 12/1 at Perth where City Derby finished an enhanced 4th at 9/1 having been well backed in from an advised 20/1 and quietly fancied. So all in all some nice solid each way results there. The disappointing race was atWarwick where the selections finished 6th and 7th although both ran as well as their prices suggested they would.

 

We will continue to seek some speculative value today with most of the races offering enhanced odds. 

 

I'll be switching the Members Paddock back on early this afternoon as I've decided to make some slight tweaks to the original plans in terms of the "Tipster Description" As you will remember we wanted to move to a more broadly based "Daily Tips" offering based on speciality in various sectors (Flat Turf / NH / AW and a some geographical splits, specifically Ireland but also something of a North / South split).

 

Thank you though for your feedback and thoughts which are appreciated, what has become clear is how many have built up their own extensive data on specific SP2A Tipsters and don't want to lose that or get confused by the new formats. So, listening to that feedback and  looking at it from a pragmatic approach, I believe we have found a way to satisfy our plans to change but also to reflect the allegiance to specific Tipsters that you wish to keep. We'll sort that in terms of "reporting" before relaunching and backfilling the Members Paddock and I will explain all on Monday (although it will become obvious from tomorrow). The reason for Monday is that we have 2 very busy days of racing ahead, and early next week gets a bit quieter although we do have the Punchestown Festival to look forward to.

 

In the meantime, we'll also be putting up the revised Betting Bank information on the website and I will touch on that on Sunday.
