A competitive race with 3 dominating at the top of the market.

 

Whilst JESSICA RABBIT; Havana River and Christopher Robin all hold strong claims at prices between 3/1 and 4/1, I think that JESSICA RABBIT is by far the stronger of the three. The Yard of the Racing Barrister Graeme McPherson has sprung to life and one to follow once winners start to flow. The trip and mark is fine, Going no problem, so at the Odds a win saver.

 

I'm not so sure about this trip or the handicap mark for Christopher Robin and whilst Havana River was a 3 mile P2P winner some while back, a recent runner up spot, where it surged in to contention but found very little under pressure, does not suggest to me it has turned any kind of corner, even for a crack young Trainer like Tom Lacey.

 

The 3 are classic Tricast and Reverse Forecast perm material but one I think who is overpriced and well worth an each way bet is LAYERTHORP. A 3 time winner last season off marks of 83-88-92 it will of benefitted from 2 recent runs, could be running back in to form, and certainly capable of taking a hand again off todays mark.
