The Advisor - Pontefract 5.10 6 Royal Brave @ 4/1

There is racing today at Newmarket, the first of three days there and a number of "same aged" races, we
can watch and learn there today in respect of the draw and Going but nothing of note today. The Card at
Perth looks to be likely to be something of a "Pipe/Twiston-Davies" benefit; but which ones to perm and
pick is a bigger conundrum, and with all their horses likely to be very well backed, we will leave them alone
today. There is also a decent Card at Chelmsford and racing in Ireland at The Curragh, but we will go to

Pontefract for our sole tip, and a strong shout for another horse there, who has been backed heavily.

The Yorkshire track has developed a strong low draw front runner bias this season, and as such many
higher drawn horses simply can't get in to contention, that's puts us off a few early in the day but in the
5.10 race No 6 ROYAL BRAVE looks to have been found an ideal opportunity off a nice mark and at 4/1
a solid win bet, but for those wanting to play the percentages an each way/place shot to nothing on form.
The 4/1 is generally available and if you have a RaceBets account you may even be able to grab

a bit of 9/2 that is available as I write, but doubt it will be there for too long.

In the final race the strong shout is FERNDALE but at 11/4 and after a tough race at Ayr last week;
I would not want to get too involved, he has to win off this mark with a kind draw and if he was 5-6/1
we would be on him but 11/4 is just a bit too short for me but may be a banker for your accumulators.
It would be nice to find 3-4 today after a decent win yesterday but the danger is we could give too much
back to the Bookies and better to play sensibly with some nice races to attack over the next 3 days.
