Sandown 3.35

SANDOWN 3.35 London National - Class 2 (3 miles 5 furlongs - 14 run)

A race we won a couple of seasons back at big odds with Benbens and the similar theme to that day today could be soft/tacky Going. This race has sometimes in past been run on Good to Soft or better favouring some Course specialists who don't like it too deep, today I see it as more of a stamina test.

DOING FINE falls in to the Course and better Going category, can't ever be discounted here and if there is one at a big price to have onside, may be this one so a Tracker bet.

Of the remainder of the field at nice Odds with proven stamina and ability to handle the Going are a pair who have already had runs and who therefore look aimed at this race and they are VINNIE LEWIS and SHANROE SANTOS. Both are consistent enough when running off decent marks and have solid each way claims here.

Tips - VINNIE LEWIS + SHANROE SANTOS - Tracker Doing Fine @ 25/1.

TRACKERS -:

In the 1.10 at Wetherby HASTRIBAL  @ 6/1 looks something of an each way banker if running up to it's usual mark, has run Court Baloo close last time on seasonal debut and gets a 4lbs pull plus the added fitness boost and early 11/2 - 6/1 looks solid each way material.

In the 1.05 at Navan Tout Et Permis looks clear one to beat off what looks a ridiculously generous Hurdle mark but there could be a dark horse lurking at nice odds in the Willie mullins trained DANDY MAG @ 14-20/1 (EARLY ODDSCHECKER price) who has struggled a bit to acclimatise to Chase Fences but who may find these Hurdles allowing a confidence boost, certainly has an engine and stamina based on French form.
