I narrowed this down to a small number and a toss up between a couple who can pull hard, have done so at 3 miles but been in the lead at this 21 furlong point. Ballyantics may need soft but has never really tried this kind of Going so worth a look and Mauna Kea pulled hard last time but the booking of Schofield adds to confidence but not sure the value at 5/1. The one I most like as value to win and/or place is Course and Distance winner CLEARLY CAPABLE, it hosed up over CD here last year off marks of 82 and 89; is back off a winning ark, been a lovely sunny weekend in Devon so drying ground seems assured and plenty of sun already today, so looks the value at 8/1
