4.05 8 AL DESTOOR @ 13/2 + 11 VENTURA DRAGON @ 9/1 - 1/4 point each way (Sky Bet offering Odds to 4th place)

A Class 3 race over 10 furlongs with 12 runners, SKYBET enhance to 4 places. Mulligatawny has let us down a number of times this season; gets a nice mark here and booking of SD-S has attracted a lot of support. His sole win was in a Class 4 off 87, runs here in a Class 3 off 77; that sums up 2018 form and although SD-S is a win machine, I think the value bet is more an SD-S accumulator of some sort, than a win bet on this one. Awake My Soul may just need to run again but one I will be tracking VERY closely and Grandee has bit of Irish form that make it a danger. AL DESTOOR would be a confident each way poke though; looks like it is running in to form; best form is with soft in the Going description, has won off a mark of 82 and runner up off a mark of 80 at this level, so today's mark of 80 looks very interesting. The only 3 year old in the line up is Fahey's VENTURA DRAGON, either it has had a few niggles or they have let it strengthen up and kept it off unsuitably firm Going. His horses rarely need a run, won as a 2 year old at Ffaos Llas on heavy Going off 76; won on 3 year old debut at Doncaster in March on very soft Going also off 76, and if fit and ready and just enough cut, the handicapper may have been very lenient with a mark of 80.

4.35 7 GIVE IT SOME TEDDY @ 5/1 + 15 ROSY RYAN  @ 20/1 - 1/4 point each way (all Bookies currently odds to 4th - find ones who will enhance even if non runners)

A fair bit of deadwood in here I feel. Alfred Richardson would be very interesting over a longer trip, this may just be a bit sharp but he could stay on well, if they go off too fast and may be one for a Tricast. Instant Attraction is on a nice mark based on old form but this is his first turf run in some time with some cut and he may just need more rain. The Eagles Nest has been backed in due to SD-S could be anything but I'd suggest again that small SD-S accumulator. GIVE IT SOME TEDDY looks the one to beat, has run in better races and very unlucky in running last time and at 5/1 and odds to 4th, looks solid each way banker. ROSY RYAN won this race last season off a mark of 64, after earlier wins off 55 and 59. Runs off 60 here; best mark really since winning the race last year. Has been nurdled back to this mark and last run showed more promise. I like horses coming back to scene of last win in same race, small yard but capable and has something of "a plan" feel to it so interesting and worth a dabble.

5.05 1 WISHING WELL @ 7/1 - 1/4 point each way

Urban Spirit is the one they all have to beat here, may be worth a reverse forecast but I felt that WISHING WELL was clear best of the rest. Won over Course and Distance off 69 in June last year on God to Soft, not really had those conditions and mark align since then and off 67 here with PJ McDonald up another who looks solid each way material.
