Catterick 3.35 1 WOTABREEZE @ 12-14/1 - tracked him for a while and a couple of genuine hard luck stories mixed with some inconsistent runs. He IS due a win, he won this last year off a 2lbs higher mark, conditions are ideal and with last 2 wins off 65, the mark of 62 today is very appealing. The Jockey booking suggests confidence and the draw in Stall 5 is better than another we are waiting for (Kings Coinage) - might be a nice forecast??...of all those in the Flat Tracker today; the one that jumped off the page most.
Salisbury 4.00 1 UNION ROSE @ 12-14/1 another very well handicapped horse, might just be regressing BUT ; this is on paper easiest task for some time; the Good to Firm suits, handicap mark screams off the page at you and another who finally gets a decent draw with a Low Number. The booking of the in form David Probert again adds lustre to the hopes of a better run.
At Worcester in the 2.20 I have OLD PRIDE and PINK EYED PEDRO in the P2P Horses to Follow Tracker and am sure both can pay their way as can their Trainers be ones to keep a close eye on. If they were 10/1 plus, I'd be having a small each way on both, but at 7/1 and with what looks like a strong BOWEN Trained favourite (Hillary View) I will play conservatively, and have a small Tricast Perm instead.
