Mention Strat 4.55 6 Seven Nation Army @ 12/1 / 7 For Jim @ 9/1 ¼ e/w L-C 1-4
Mention Strat See notes Patent 3.45 / 4.20 / 4.55

There is not a great deal to enthuse over elsewhere on the Goodwood Card. I sincerely hope that THE GALWAY HURDLE is won by someone other than Mullins; Elliott or O'Brien, for all the reasons explained yesterday, and the winner of The Plate yesterday did nothing to change my views on the cartels currently operating over there.

With little else of note on the Flat, there are 3 competitive IF moderate decent field races to close the Card at Stratford. In the 3.45 5 Next Level could be some decent each way value at around 15/2; the same applies to 10 Ballyandrew in the 4.20 and in the 4.55 I could not chose between 6 Seven Nation Army, for whom a drop in trip and booking of Tom Scu; looks interest, but bounce factor a worry and 7 For Jim, who steps up to a trip closer to that shown in most promising Rules run and its early P2P form.

So I would suggest 1/4 point each way on SEVEN NATION ARMY and FOR JIM in the 4.55 race and then perm SNA in a 50p each way Patent with NEXT LEVEL and BALLYANDREW, total cost of the Patent for a 50p Unit is £7 or if you want a perm option have 2 x 25p e/w Patents one with SNA and the 3rd pick and the other with FJ as the 3rd pick.
