Doncaster 2.15 - a fair few of these will need the run on past evidence and similarly better ground would suit many of them,

the likes of Call Out Loud will be a big danger; Chiswick Bey is on a nice mark and may yet revive; Kirkham is solid in this

Grade but the one who really caught the eye was HITMAN ; it is race fit; likes these straight 7 furlong Courses; has been a

runner up at a mile on soft off a mark of 77 in a Class 4 last summer; then won at this trip off a mark of 62; and arrives here

in what could be ideal conditions, ready to go off a mark of 66, and that 1 mile proven stamina, could be the biggest asset.

Ladbrokes and Coral enhance places to 4th place so use if at all possible.

Doncaster 2.50 - Bold Spirit is fit but better on AW as are several of these and as in the first Division of the race at 2.15 many

may need the run. Grinty won first time out in 2017, is on a nice mark, but the yard has so far been very slow to fire. EAST

COAST LADY has had a fairly recent run, won at Leicester, where it can be very heavy of 65 in a Class 6 last season and

has run well on soft before around the 70 mark; so a mark of 71 here looks exploitable with fitness and Going evidence.

Ladbrokes and Coral enhance places to 4th place so use if at all possible.

Perth 3.45 - as explained in tips above; likely to be a real test of stamina and LOWANBEHOLD was a clear second best pick

for the race, the only niggle is the number of recent runs and possible fatigue but leave that aside and it has proven form

at around 4 miles (not all have that assured stamina) and is an in form horse, who if ready looks sure to figure in a slog.

Doncaster 5.00, as explained in tips above, GABRIELS STAR is relatively fit, on a very nice mark; should enjoy the trip

and Going, has recently moved to the lovely and capable Marjorie Fife; who not only has a flair for improving sour horses

but also is in decent form early in the season and the price around 14/1 looks cracking each way value.
