York 4.55

York 4.55 3 East Street Review @ 9/1 / 8 Coolfitch @ 14/1 (1/2 point each way each horse)

I always think that unless you have extremes of ground here that middle to low is the
best draw, they tend to finish in an arrow like formation and gravitate to the far rail. That trend just puts me
off the likes of Bashiba and Desert Law and whilst I think both are big dangers I just feel the instructions will
be to be gentle if the draw turns against the to preserve handicap marks. The form analysis throws up 2 very
well handicapped Course and Distance winners at nice odds and nice draws from big Yards and both have
the scope to do much better than recent form suggests. EAST STREET REVIEW won well here last year;
has not quite come to hand yet, but looks a second half of the season horse, I am sure Tim Easterby will
have a plan for the horse, and this represents the best chance I think it has had so far in 2017; in terms
of mark; draw; track and Going, and I would be disappointed if it did not figure. COOLFITCH blotted her
copybook last time at Windsor, but we can forgive her one off day and prior to that she had looked very
progressive for the O'Meara yard. The race last time was down at Windsor, may be she did not travel well;
or like the small field but based on her excellent form prior to that, she looks very nicely drawn and off a
mark she can still expose and the 14/1 seems to me to be a reflection of her strop than her pure form!
Move In Time is a horse with a great cv and has to click again one day but not quite here but one I
will watch with some interest, as recent SP2A Elite winner Out Do had a very similar profile!
