York 3.30

York 3.30 13 Sakhees Return @ 11/1  / 4 Bertiewhittle @ 16/1 each way (all Bookies odds to 4th / SkyBet to 5th)

It is no secret that York is my favourite track, great Course, fantastic facilities, a lack of toffs and snobs
and always big and competitive fields. The 3.30 over 7 furlongs is a cracking race where I was able to narrow the field
down to a short list of about 5. With all bookies going odds to 4th and Skybet to 5th, a good chance to flex the brain cells
and have a bash looking for some value. The ones I narrowly ticked off are Classic Seniority on account of the draw and
handicap mark; God Willing whose form is solid but whose form at York is poor and Ballymore Castle, whose Trainer you
always have to fear here, but whose form not quite as good as my chosen pair. SAKHEES RETURN jumps off the page at
me somewhat, lovely middle draw; Course and Distance winner; local prolific yard here; Going and trip ideal and if you
look back, a horse whose best form is usually June and July after a few warm up races. BERTIEWHITTLE seems to have
been around for ever, but still very capable, nice draw; Class 3 is fine; Going and handicap mark spot on for a big run
and the icing on the cake is the Course and Distance form, both at nice prices and confident they will run well.
