Warwick 2.30

PLACESPOTTER - Warwick 2.30 6 BOMBERS MOON 1 point each way @ 6/1  / 5 MARCH IS ON 1/2 point each way @ 12/1

(Sky / Lads / PP/ Coral / Betfred - enhance to 4th - use if you can)

This is a 2 miles and 5 furlong handicap Hurdle and BOMBERS MOON strikes me as the best value of the market leaders having stayed on well at Doncaster over 3 miles and has decent form on Good and Good to Soft Going. Likely to have come on for that run you'd think Twister would send the jockey out with instructions to race prominently now that they know stamina is assured. Of the remainder the favourite looks a shade un-genuine to me and whilst the likes of Samson The Man and Sandy Boy could be handicap springers, neither looks suited by the trip or handicap mark on any known form so far, so I would take either winning on the chin (as I did yesterday - more of that in a bit). EL SCORPIO is a "lurker" who could out run Odds but just a niggle that this might be too tacky for him Going wise.

I've been waiting to start playing the unexposed POINT 2 POINT form for weeks, we've had a few but they have been more speculative than confident but there is a really "dark one in here" with a bit of HIDDEN form that warrants the closest consideration. MARCH IS ON is a 3 miles P2P winner on soft and gets longer trip and ground under Rules for first time. He may be one to follow rather than an immediate hit but one bit of P2P from is jump off the page stuff, a win over 3 miles where back in 3rd was a horse called REIKERS ISLAND very progressive for Philip Hobbs and a winner recently off a mark of 124 in a Class 3 race. MARCH IS ON gets in here off a mark of 103 with Jonjo Junior taking 5lbs off and one I will watch with MASSIVE interest and certainly one to follow and track.
