Ripon 2.55

Ripon 2.55 3 Pipers Note @ 5/1 - 1/2 point each way

The draw here tends to favour extremes, either high or low but as we saw at the last meeting both have chances, it is more about
Course form and where the pace is. You have to play your hand early from the middle draws. The most difficult aspect is that many
with nice draws and/or Course form may need the run on seasonal debut, as past years suggest they won't win first time out and
that rules out the likes of Flying Pursuit; Nameitwhatyoulike; Red Pike and Classic Seniority for today, any of those could "pop up";
but law of past form says they will need this. The biggest imponderable is TERUNTUM STAR whose cv indicates it either wins fresh
or finishes tailed off, I think it may run from the front, so don't be surprised if it bolts up or is out the back, the obvious one though is
PIPERS NOTE. It has Course form, has had a run, comes from Ruth Carr yard who will be looking at Tuesday with a warm glow as
"May is usually magnificent for them" and this one ticks every box and with those Bookies paying odds to 4th looks the proverbial
each way banker, with luck in running with every other box firmly ticked.
