Placespotter - Sandown 3.00 1 Mr Mix - each way 10/1 (generally) (Paddy Power go odds to 4th!)

I considered the 3.00 at Sandown for The Elite tip but went to Musselburgh instead; it

is a messy race and hard to work out what is really unexposed and what has the real form,

the added issue is that many are unproven at the trip. I can make a case for Lord of The Island

and indeed the "nag" Ballyculla on their form in these conditions but not for the first, or the

last time, closer examination shows the best handicapped horse, may be the one you would

think is least well handicapped e.g the top weight. He is MR MIX and in my opinion well

worth an each way punt at 10/1. His mark is actually very competitive, his last win may

have hidden a fair bit more to come as he idled in front but won with a bit in hand and it

is always worth noting when Nicholls runs in handicaps off top weight how often he makes

the right choice, rather than looking for a lower weight in a potentially hotter race.

Paddy Power stick their necks out and go 10/1; odds to 4th, a no brainer therefore go

with Paddy Power, grab the 10/1 and BOG it.
