KENNY THE CAPTAIN is both due a win and on a very nice mark, the ground and draw
look ideal and he looks very solid place (at least) material. I can't ignore Mercers Row
though as a year ago he was beating Bowson Fred off a mark of 76 and as we saw
at the weekend that horse is now competitive off a mark of 100, off a mark of 67 here
Mercers Row who may be regressive but has surely still got some scope to be competitive
as a Course and Distance winner also gets the very capable assistance of Danny Tudhope.
It just jumps off the page as one of those who can pop up and then have you screaming
"why didn't I see that" - definitely worth a speculative punt on these terms.
