"The race at Hereford will be a slog in the mud and although Goodtoknow is a worthy favourite the
price is short and I'm not sure is well handicapped. Stablemate Mountainous is slowly coming to
hand, as is the yard in recent weeks and the mark and Going look ideal. Firebird Flyer won the
Midlands National for Elite subscribers last March, probably took more out of him than we imagined,
has disappointed so far this season but on better ground; may be been asked to go a yard to fast;
for its comfort zone. The slog today should suit and at the price a better run is expected".
