Musselburgh 4.35

Musselburgh 4.35 Handicap - 5 Furlongs - Class 5 - 12 run - Good to Firm

On good to Firm here the high drawn horses have a big advantage usually and unless something pings the stalls drawn low and gets right across it can be seen as a bit asset to be drawn high.

I've focussed more on the Draw therefore than the market and of those Drawn high the market has plunged on DAPPER MAN. Picked up by some of the better Twitter Tipsters on declaration on Thursday there has been a weight of money. The horse has good form chances but not one to trust at such reduced Odds. If it wins no doubt everyone will have been on at 33-50/1 on Thursday (ahem!) but we'll look at the market as it is today.

Of those also drawn high ECONOMIC CRISIS is a horse that has won at huge Odds in the past, nearly popped up at nice Odds here last week, runs off a good enough mark (though rising) and still retains enough ability to win this from Stall 9 if getting luck in running. ROYAL BRAVE drawn in Stall 10 is another perfectly well drawn, not quite as good as it was but Trainer Rebecca Bastiman has had 3 recent winners and a strike rate around 25% in last 2 weeks and nice each way Odds make it an each way punt.

Finally, MAJOR PUSEY at much bigger odds, gets Stall 12, runner up at Brighton off 66 a year ago, just the one run this year but not disgraced and if coming on for that could hog the rail and run a place at very nice Odds. They may be rueing the fact that it may have ideally needed another run before getting such a plum draw, but it's worth a small Tracker bet to find out.

There's the logic laid out in full, let's hope it's the right call.

TIPS - Economic Crisis + Royal Brave / Tracker - Major Pusey.
