Musselburgh 4.30

Musselburgh 4.30 2 Staigue Fort @ 20/1 / 6 Professor Plum @ 15/2

(both 1/2 point each way)

I think Nefyn Bay is there to be taken on at 5/2 despite the Yards great run of form, upped in trip and not
as good over hurdles. There are a few with P2P form in here but none of it really amounts to much and hard to fins anything
collateral that transfers to a good mark under Rules. Wind Of Hope went for Rules to P2P and back again and looks moderate;
could win but I think there is better value. Rising Marienbard will attract support from this yard but another whose P2P form offer
little really positive form and Ange Des Malbereux needs to prove stamina, even round here.

The value lies I think with PROFESSOR PLUM from a yard that has delivered for us a few times this season, 3rd here off a mark of
102 in a Class 5 in November; the mark of 100 here gives it every chance of a decent run at nice each way odds. A bit more speculative
is STAIGUE FORT; 3rd over Course and Distance off a mark of 109 in March last year; it beat Wake Of Dreams in that race now rated
and winning off 110 and runner up off 117; so today's mark of 104, less a 5lbs Claim is a bit eye opening, if it can run to the level of that run.
