Lucky 63 - Thursday 25th August

There is racing today at Leicester; Musselburgh and Wolverhampton on the Flat and at
Fontwell and Sedgefield over the Jumps and Irish action at Bellewstown and Tipperary.
There are a few horses that have jumped off the page, a few in the trackers and a few
system trackers (about which we will tell you a lot more over the weekend); but the reality
is that I dont feel confident about putting another 2-3 mediocre horses up today in mediocre
races, with a finger crossed that they will win - they are weighted and have the form to run
very well, but a few are speculative and the shorter priced ones are not certainties.

So; the logical way to go is a small unit accumulator with a chance of a very nice pay out.

Here are the horses that stand out today and the reasons why-:

Leicester 4.45 16 Commanche @ 16/1

A very poor quality race over 6 furlongs and the likes of Tom Sawyer and Firgrove Bridge
could run well at nice prices although TS may be better at 5 furlongs and both wont welcome
any more rain - COMMANCHE though has an excellent Course record, De Souza is up
in the saddle and has a good record on the horse; you would assume the agent had his
pick of 10-12 of these for his client, so that speaks volumes and rain is a bonus!

Sedgefield 7.00 2 Theatre Act @ 16/1

As we develop our "systems analysis" one jockey we will monitor through the winter
is Brian Hughes, he is a prolific winner up North, his stock has risen over the past 2-3
years, he does not make money "backed blind" - no jockey does BUT there are clear
trends and factual analysis to back him for certain trainers at specific tracks when
on any horse over 10/1 - his strike and profit rate is phenomenal - this is one such
scenario and the horse has solid Course and Distance form in soft Going, the current
going is Good to Soft - but a lot of rain due during the day up there!

Wolverhampton 8.45 9 Pivotman @ 12/1

I recall this winning for us here at Wolverhampton at 28/1 when Gary Moss
was tipping for us. I watched it run there a month ago when it absolutely
looked the emphatic winner down the straight, cruising on the bridle, but the
jockey kept running in to the back of horses, it loves Wolverhampton and it
seems to run best in better grade that lower grade - Rachel Richardson gets
the nod tonight and if it runs like it di last time here has a great chance.

Fontwell 2.20 4 Osgood @ 8/1

A Course and Distance winner and specialist and if you look at the form, you will see
August is a very good month for this horse, Gary Moore loves winners here and it
is not hard on the anecdotal evidence to see it returning to form here today.

Fontwell 2.50 7 Brave Encounter @ 10/3

Has a big weight pull with the favourite and weight is a "killer" in races like this,
good enough to take advantage from an in form yard and its form has been franked by a
number of recent beaten rivals, coming out and subsequently winning.

Leicester 2.40 3 Harwoods Volante @ 11/4

Runs off a very nice handicap mark for David O'Meara in a trappy little race
but one of the few who wont be praying for the rain to stop and excellent chance.

At those Odds if, and I agree a big "if" all 6 won, the payout would exceed £100,000
what better way to reward your support and patience and go from zero to hero
in one fell swoop......it is a poor day of racing but the form logic is laid out for you..

Lets believe....
