Kempton 3.15

Kempton 3.15 5 Georgian Bay @ 12/1 / 13 Golden Wedding @ 16/1 (both e/w odds to 4th place)

I remain convinced and somewhat vindicated recently that a high draw here is not a disadvantage
any more, indeed it can be an advantage running down the middle of the home straight. I narrowed this race down to
3 horses and with 2 drawn high was going to go with GEORGIAN BAY who has a great record in this race, loves Kempton;
is sure to be primed to the minute and COMMODITY who is progressive and improving and looks on of those with scope
to improve. However; I don't want to sit and reflect that those 2 have stymied each other in late runs and missed something
drawn lower, who may get first run. The form of GOLDEN WEDDING is compelling in its own right and closely matches both
Georgian Bay and Commodity, and although it holds no secrets from the handicapper, a draw in stall 5 does give it an excellent
chance - so I will go with GEORGIAN BAY and GOLDEN WEDDING fearing Commodity and pointing out the odds to 4th place.
