Haydock 2.30 I'm not sure of the trip in Heavy Going for Ballyhome and not sure Hastrubal or Volcano are much value in these testing conditions. The Going is Heavy but drying and that may actually make it more sticky. TOO MANY CHIEFS relishes this trip in the mud and Ayr is a similar test to Haydock when it gets tacky, the only niggle is the handicap mark, but the horse is solid, consistent, fit and in form and one of the most likely to run its race and the 8-9/1 looks the value here. ICE COOL CHAMPS was a bit disappointing on seasonal debut, especially given stable s form, but if we assume it will come on for the run it looks likely to be a big danger, even if 12 stones 3lbs is a weight to chug around here.
