Goodwood Wednesday 2nd August

Good Morning

Here is the plan for today; we will offer here thoughts on 2-3 horses at Goodwood later on the Card by which time we

anticipate Soft at best; probably soft to Heavy and we will focus on horses proven on the surface.

At around noon (12 noon) I will issue a suggested Lucky 15 bet for later/tonight covering the 4.35; 5.35 and 7.20

over in Ireland at Galway and also in the Handicap Chase at pert scheduled for 5.10pm.

The suggestion is to allocate 2 point to each of the Goodwood races this afternoon and 1 point to the Lucky 15;

hence, in terms of staking, what you would usually use of your Daily betting bank for 3 selected races.

Lets have a look at this afternoon at Goodwood-:

The 4.45 is over 10 Furlongs and is a Class2 Fillies Handicap.

I compiled a "long list including Billesdon Bess; Ebbesbourne;  Indian Blessing; Indulged; Skiffle and Lady Perignon.
I whittled most of those out on account of anticipated ground and also draw and pure form analysis. That leaves me with

a short list of 3, and I am suggesting you divide your stakes thus-:

8 TITI MAKFI - 1 point each way @ 8/1 (all Bookies odds to 4th / Sky to 5th)
12 BILLESDON BESS - 1/4 point each way @ 16/1 (all Bookies odds to 4th / Sky to 5th)

15 WHITE CHOCOLATE - 1/2 point win@ 6/1

These are the 3 horses in the race who I feel will cope best with the Going and all have a little bit of proven stamina over a shade further.

The 5.50 is a Class 3 Handicap over 7 furlongs

My long list comprised of around 9 horses but the draw is a BIG issue here, I don't discount anything high but
it is a big field and the likes of Easy Tiger(15); Ifwecan (13); Noble Peace(14); Sinfonetta (17); Baron Bolt (20);
who are all in with a shout, can't all get over closer to the rail. The advantage is being lower, but if you miss the
start from lower, you can get trapped BUT crucially wont have used up early speed, and have chance to plot

a line wider as we saw from Breton Rocks yesterday.

My final 3 are-:

16 MEDIEVAL - 1 point each way @ 20/1 (all Bookies odds to 4th / Sky to 5th)
3 MEDBURN DREAM - 1/4 point way @ 14/1 (all Bookies odds to 4th / Sky to 5th)
12 PASTORAL PLAYER - 1/4 point each way @ 16/1 (all Bookies odds to 4th / Sky to 5th)

The 3 selections look well handicapped, have good Course cv and will handle the ground and drawn
in stalls 7; 9 and 2 respectively, should have scope and advantage to use those more favourable slots.

I have studied the form and done the analysis myself so these will be proofed as PLACEPOTTER selections
and I have also used for the first time a new analysis tool which I have been developing for some time to

aid form; trends and systems analysis in collusion with the old fashioned form book.

That's all for now, we will be back at noon with the planned Luck 15 from Work Watcher and The Advisor
