Chepstow 8.10

Chepstow 8.10 9 Ring Eye @ 16/1  / 5 Miskin @ 14/1 both each way (Lads/Sky go odds to 4th place)

A mile and a half at this Course specialists track gives me an angle to look at Course form and alsp
at proven stamina and then to look for something who can win races and is well handicapped in that context. I was
left with a short list of three at appealing prices and discarded Three Loves purely on the basis that I don't think an
apparently improved run last time stands the microscope of analysis when you look at what the horse beat.

The two who I think have speculative place chances at least are MISKIN AND RING EYE.

The latter one RING EYE really caught my eye as it is a Course winner, fine at this trip up to 2 miles. a horse
that will need this race to be run at a decent gallop but they have come here rather than the 2 miler at the close
of the Card. I am happy to see Eddy Greatrex back in the saddle as they were united for the last win together
and the horse has slipped below that win mark. MISKIN made a decent UK debut last time and the Racing
Post analysis indicates it should come on for that run, if it does it holds good place chances based on what
it beat last time and the trip should present no issues or problems. 1/2 point each way is suggested
