A Mares Hurdle at 4.45 over 3 miles and 70 yards and the Going is rated Good to Soft, a bit of sun and a decent

breeze logically dries the Going out BUT; they have had a hell of a bad winter up there; rain and snow, so you have to think that

the "water table" is very high, it will be interesting for today and tomorrow to see how it actually rides, as it could be "quite dead"

ground once they take the top off "a bit like a dry crust" with some gloup underneath!

What strikes me most here is that amongst a group of very progressive and talented horses, very few have form at the trip.

If any of the following-: Lamanver Odyssey; River Icon; Baby Tickler; Elusive Theatre; Miss Tynte; Treacle Tart improve

for the trip; they could be very dangerous. I was most concerned about DRINKS INTERVAL as it is a big danger to my

selection but just a niggle all of its form is right handed. The stand out, and I think way too big at 16/1 with odds to 4th place

is CARNSPINDLE. Ayr has long straights and tight turn, it is a long way down the finishing stretch and with the thought

it could be a bit tougher Going wise than advertised and the proven form make CARNSPINDLE a very good each way

bet. It has a nice mark; Going is no issue whatever it is and if you look back a few runs a decent run behind JESTER JET 

was certainly franked as very solid form at Aintree a week ago. I have quiet confidence for a big run here.
