Worcester 2.40 14 Vendredi Trois @ 10/1 + 3 Exxaro @ 12/1 - 1 point each way each - SkyBet to 5th - all to 4th (T/Cast) 

This is a cracking race over just shy of 3 miles and a hot favourite in Dr Newlands Blagapor, who could almost walk to the track down the A449 from the stable. I can't see the value though there despite a great chance other than in a Tricast Perm. The Bradstock trained Roberts Star is a huge dark horse given its connections but up 10lbs I am not sure well handicapped on known form. Two I really like carrying penalties I think they CAN surmount are VENDREDI TROIS and EXXARO. Vendredi Trois won over Course and Distance last time off 107; and won over Course and Distance in 2017 so clearly likes the place. Up 6lbs does not look excessive based on previous handicap marks and form and I just felt there was a little bit more there last time and form over these portable obstacles is compelling.

EXXARO also won last time although a problem at the last threatened to unseat Tom Scudamore, the fact it regained composure and still went away from the field, bodes well in terms of the increase of 5lbs and the horse seems to be on a bit of an upward trajectory, if he runs as well as last time and cuts out the careless error, has to have a great chance. The other one at a price I noted was the Bowen horse Kinari, it is fit from P2P with Trainers son, has CD form and could pop up, so in addition to 2 selections will have that and favourite in a Tricast.
