15 Mon Beau Visage - 1/2 point each way @ 12/1 (odds to 4th place)

A tough and very competitive race of decent quality and my immediate impression was the number of prominent front running horses.

The likes of Borodin and Raslesad are likely to be nip and tuck up front and Areen Heart and Elusive Heights who are big dangers also like to race prominently.

Although a low draw is an advantage IF the pace folds it is entirely feasible and not uncommon for something drawn wide and tucked in the fly down the outside and Course and Distance winner MON BEAU VISAGE knows all about Thirsk and looks tailor made for such a race again. It has an excellent record in August and arrives here (a Course and Distance winner off 80 and  winner off 86) on a very appealing mark of 81 less a 7lbs Clam!,
