Chepstow 2.10 AIR OF YORK - A Class 5 race over 7 furlongs with the Going described as Soft with Heavy patches. I think they usually come Stand side on Soft/Heavy on Flat here and that gives a bit of an advantage to highly drawn horses. Course form and ability to handle the undulations is always a form analysis factor and big tick. I was interested in Bombastic but that is now a non runner and narrows choice down to 3 horses. Smokey Lane (drawn 8) and Secret Glance (drawn 7) both look interesting and dangerous in these conditions and both make the Track and will be in a Tricast Perm I do, but I think at bigger odds (at the time of writing) AIR OF YORK is the one who ticks every box for me. Course and Distance form, Handicap mark, soft Going, a drop from Class 4 to 5 and drawn in Stall 11 so I will be disappointed if not very competitive.
