Newmarket 5.20

Newmarket 5.20 2 Rotherwick - 1 point each way @ 16/1 (all Bookies odds to 4th / Sky to 5th) + Fire Brigade

The Silver Cambridgeshire sees some unexposed and promising 3 year olds take on this intermediate
9 furlong trip and I think the extra furlong up the hill out of the dip will be the defining factor as well as the possibly
softer than anticipated conditions. I would not put anyone off a small win bet on FIRE BRIGADE at 4/1 and think
that is the one they all have to beat, but I am looking for some value and feel I have found it in ROTHERWICK.
A Course and Distance winner, at home on Good to Soft Going and although not well handicapped a horse
whose consistency denies it too much leeway from the handicapper. The Paul Cole yard has hit a nice bit
of form running at a 25% win rate in past few weeks and the one thing they know they have is that proven stamina
and ability to kick out of the dip and provided they go at a decent pace and don't dawdle, I think a good each
way punt at about 16/1 with all Bookies paying odds to 4th and SkyBet odds to 5th
