Barry Nicholls - Redcar 5.05 8 Chiswick Bey - each way @ 9/1 (Generallly)

At Redcar; where there are a host of big field 2 year old races and some unfathomable
very big field low grade Handicap races that look a complete minefield; the one race
that attracted our attention was the 5.05 race. The heart and in part the form book says
the legendary Kiwi Bay, but he is getting no younger and may not be handicapped to win.
One that is well in here is Richard Fahey's Chiswick Bey, ridden by another in form Claimer
in Andrew McNamara. The horse has yet to win in 2016, usually picks up a race or two
each season, but has been handicapped out of contention off marks either side of 70
all summer. Its relative consistency has been its undoing but down now to 67 and
with a further 5lbs claim, enters the kind of handicap territory it has always been able
to exploit. This looks its best opportunity of 2016 so far and time for us to have a punt.
