Work Watcher - Haydock 5.05 11 Dark Devil - each way @ 6/1

The 5.05 at Haydock poses the classic conundrum of 3 year old form v the form of older horses;
and whilst the 3 year olds get bigger weight allowances in July and August, that exemption now
reduces and allows a better view of "absolute form". There are some solid older horses in this race;
David O'Meara has a couple at the top of the handicap but also some progressive 3 year olds too.
Richard Fahey finally seems to have found the optimum trip with DARK DEVIL as a  better run at
Carlisle proved. The long straight here should be a real asset as should the genuine pace of the race
and off a mark of 82, which looks generous, a big run is anticipated.
