Tuesday 16th April

Opening day of 2019 Flat season at Newmarket has come around very quickly, Good to Firm Going a marked contrast to last year and will suit lot more horses, the very cold spell means the 2 and 3 year olds may be best watched for now until they come in to their coats. There is an all aged 6 Furlong handicap to attack at 1.50 + the return of an old friend!

At Exeter there has been some steady rain not significant but may just make it Good to Soft, no excuses for the Good or the Soft ground horses, and we will attack the 3.50 race over 3 miles and 6 furlongs a Class 3 race.

Definitely quality over quantity all summer and we will look at the better bigger field handicaps when possible.

Tips come from Robin at Exeter and a rare outing and return from Ian who tips and analyses the 1.50 at Newmarket
